Word of the Month – June 2017

"The God of heaven will give us success; therefore we His servants will arise and build"  Nehemiah 2:20

8 For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.”  For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your good (prosperity).  Psalm 122:8-9

Beloved Brothers and Sisters,

After seeing much of the people going through Father Me Emotional Healing and benefiting from it directly myself, I come to understand the critical importance of God’s peace within our soul (mind). In 3 John 2, it says as our soul prosper we also prosper in health and well-being. Today we are seeing more cases of mental and emotional challenges in the society of Singapore. Both parents and children are finding hard to cope with stress, anxiety and fear in their workplace and school. In verse 8, it tells us to seek God’s peace within oneself and it is the most important starting point of everyone’s day in the morning upon waking up. Without the peace of God within our minds, we couldn’t achieve much. Why?

The world is full of distractions, disruptions and deceptions. Upon waking up every day, we have many things inside out mind and hearts. The next bill, fees or instalments to pay, down to the conditions of our parents, children and spouses, even our work and businesses. When the bible says for the sake of the house of the Lord our God, who is it saying? It is talking about our body, soul and spirit as the house of the Lord, the temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19. Therefore, when we wake up every morning we must seek for our Abba Father’s Word and His peace. Just be still for our quiet time with a simple prayer, allowing God’s presence to fill up our souls (minds). This is when the Spirit of God will lead us into His realm of possibilities and opportunities that God has planned for us. God has already a plan for us! Are you sure? We must read Jeremiah 29:11. If there isn’t a plan for us, God wouldn’t say so. Therefore, we must seek His plans and purpose for the day. Such peace and surety doesn’t come from the world but from the relationship we have with God. If our mind is clouded with the issues of the world, we will not be able to shake away the old man. Hence by submitting into God’s plans, our minds are renewed and without knowing it, we break away from the issues and become a new creation empowered to bring solutions and provisions. In Deuteronomy 8:18, it is God that gives us the ability to produce WEALTH! Wealth is beyond riches of the world, it is a generational blessing to our descendants to be good steward of God’s Word above money.

It’s a fact that we all struggle between God and money. If we have money and without God at its center, we can easily fall and lose precious things in our lives. Worst of all if we lose money, there is no foundations at all. To turn our worries to finances, we undermine the greatness of God. However, if we have God’s Word at the center of lives, we rest on the plans He has for us and generosity began to consume our hearts because God is the most generous above all living both heavens and on earth. He gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for us at the Cross of Calvary so that we can be redeemed out of sin and death. Reverend Alicia never fail to remind us that to be successful man or woman of God, whether you are working or in business, we must be like Jesus because He is a giver of life, wisdom, health and wealth. “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35. Our giving must be intentional to the extension of God’s kingdom and not for personal gain because God sees our intentions and hearts. Therefore, it says in 2 Corinthians 9:7, “God loves a cheerful giver.”

I will not forget the great man of God, Oral Roberts who said the most powerful teaching He received from God is sowing. When we need a breakthrough, we must sow a seed to see the harvest, trusting fully in God who is the provider of all things. When we are able to see the invisible, we are able to do the impossible! Glory to God!!!

With Love Always,

Ps. Darien Choo
