Word of the Month – April 2018

“After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.” Job 42:10

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you. Psalm 51:10-13

Bible says only with a pure heart that we see God. David depicted such a clear focus of our spiritual journey with God is to purify our hearts. Our spirit must be faithful to God's word and will. Without Holy Spirit, we can dry up like the fig tree. But with the Holy Spirit, we can be like the burning bush, consumed by fire and yet alive!

Why must we be restored to the joy of our salvation since we are already saved? Human minds and flesh are fickle and forgetful. Have we asked ourselves have we lost our joy since the day we were saved in the Church, due to the bellows of life trial and tribulations? When was our last season which we were on Fire for Jesus?

Today if you are willing to come to Jesus as you are, He will restore your soul and give you a new heart and spirit. Ezekiel 36:26. He will pour out His joy on you again and heal you from all weariness and tiredness, and give you His peace.

To God be the glory!

With Love Always,
