Word of the Month – February 2018

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. Jeremiah 29:11-12

A divine decision is in the lips of the king; His mouth should not err in judgment. A just balance and scales belong to the LORD; All the weights of the bag are His concern. It is an abomination for kings to commit wicked acts, For a throne is established on righteousness.” Proverbs 16:10-12

Beloved Brothers and Sisters,

Most of failed decisions fall in the moment of fear, anger, pride or jealousy. They are emotional blindfolds of the enemy which hinder us from seeking God first. We must be discerning what come between us and God. If there are, they are idols and we must cast them down to fulfill the 1st commandment, which fulfills the promises God in seeking ye first the Kingdom of God.

God is impartial and He desire for us to be impartial too in handling our daily affairs. This prevents sibling rivalries, jealousy and unnecessary disputes. It's better to have little but in righteousness, than plenty with no peace but war daily. Do you show favoritism? Do you treat the poor and rich equally? The Bible says isn't it the rich that bring chargers to courts? James 2:6.

I have both rich and poor friends. And I found there are seemingly more troubles in the rich one than the poor, despite having all the money. It is no point being wholesome on the outside, but broken on the inside. God is fair for both are just with one breathe in life. Being rich is not how much we receive or have, but how much we can give to impact lives.

To God be the Glory!

With Love Always,

Ps. Darien Choo
