Today's Inspiration: God will do whatever He pleased and His counsel shall stand. He declared the end from the beginning and from ancient times things that are not yet done. Isaiah 46:10. Doing God's Will has always been in the heart of our Lord Jesus Christ and he carries the key of obedience wherever He goes as a reminder that through obedience to His will, His salvation shall not linger. Obedience and righteousness go hand in hand and are inseparable. V12-13.

Like Jesus, doing our Father's will should be our driving passion that outriggers all our needs or wants. Jesus is the perfect example of how to carry out our Fathers will as he uttered in the Lord's prayer taught to His disciples to pray that our Fathers will be done on Earth see it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10. Doing our Father's will is is to carry out His assignments with the right motive and desire and ensure it is God's will we follow and not our own nor that of others. If our hearts are reluctant to carry out an assignment of God, then you have not done God's will at all.

God can see through hypocrisy and pride of His creation. Our obedience to God must be motivated by love and desire to glorify Him. If we can't fulfill the Great commandment of love laid down by Jesus in Matthew 22:37-40 how can we proceed to perform the Great commission ?

It is always in Jesus'mind for His people to love God with their whole heart and from that heart to seek to do God's will. This is how he lived. If you love Him, you will keep His commandments. John 14:15.

To attain success, you must involve the Holy Spirit in every thought, activity and conservation until the change of habits is established and rooted in you without distractions.

To discover contentment to do God's will must be our goal. Our heart needs a renovation after coming to Christ. Coming to Christ needs repentance and repentance is about change, about a renovated heart. You no longer lived in the old house but a new house where Jesus becomes the center of your life and not yours. Everything you do needs His permission because He had bought over your house (heart), body and soul and renovated them. Some houses are so bad that total overhaul and renovation takes a process longer than usual but eventually whether you like it or not, the heart must be totally overhauled and renovated with new wall, windows and doors for Jesus to occupy freely so that you can enjoy His presence and glory. It is only this renovated heart that empowers you to surrender yourself and abandon self to His will.

We do His will not out of fear like what most people do. Deuteronomy 10:12, Gradually this must be eradicated and replaced with growing trust in God, His character and His ways that primarily motivated us to do His will. Deuteronomy 10:13-16, Psalm 9:10, 22:4-5.

It is in this that we find satisfaction in doing His will. God be praised!
