Today's Inspiration: All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of His covenant. Psalm 25:10. The Lord confides in those who fear Him and our eyes need to be focused upon the Lord for only He will release our feet from the snare. V14-15. Do not be ignorant of satanic schemes of deception. 2 Corinthians 2:11.
This is a season of fruitfulness yet a season of spiritual warfare. It's also a call to train the army of God in warfare intercession. It's also a season of seeking the Lord for His glorious presence and return with a heart of worship to perform supernatural results.
Intercession is to stand in the gap for our family and the family of Christ. Moses always stand in the gap for his people including those in rebellion and God performs wondrous results. We need to seek His glorious presence always.
God spared Lot because Abraham petitioned God on Lot's behalf. Genesis 18. When we pray we must exercise the measure of faith given to us. To seek the face of God through prayer does not require the gift of faith but mere childlike faith. A simple message from the Bible and in this chat will stir up the measure of faith that God had imparted like a small seed in every loving person. When we pray we must expect answers in confidence.
When we gather to intercede, our agreement in intercession must be not only agreement in the mind or words but must be agreement deep within our spirit - an assurance and unity that cannot be broken by outward circumstances that may appear to be working contrary to our prayers.
When we use the name of Jesus, we give Christ the authority to present our petition at God's throne of decision. Jesus is always interceding for us at the right hand of His Father. Hebrews 7:22-25.
To hasten answered prayers, we need to have the power of expectation. Throughout the four gospels people received their miracles because of their expectation. Often we minimise our expectations as we have doubt if the mountain so huge we are facing can be removed just by our petition. In Nazareth which is Jesus' hometown there were few miracles because of people's low expectations. He grew up there. It's not because of people's low faith in God but people tend to doubt our capability because of familiarity because we were brought up in the same homeland.
God's principles of answered prayer still stand. Come to Him with great expectations of miracles and believe totally that no problem is too big for God to solve as long as we come to Him with great expectation. His principles of answered prayers are so simple that we can hardly believe they could be effective. Look at the woman with the issue of blood. She came with great expectations when he uttered the prayer'If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.' Matthew 9:21.
Do you believe what Jesus taught us? Mark 11:24 Therefore i say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them and you will have them.
My prayer is that all your petitions will be answered.
