Today's Inspiration: God performs wonders that cannot be fathomed. Job 9:10. Who can question His sovereignty? He snatches away. Who can stop Him? Verse 12. His wisdom surpasses understanding in a way that among His one thousand questions you cannot even answer one. Verse 3. His wisdom is profound and power supreme that no one can resist him and emerged unscathed. Verse 4. Man's efforts are futile and limited. We serve an Almighty God that is matchless. Hence we should at all times yield to His command.
Have you ever wondered who you are and who God created you to be. Many of us are so bogged down with busyness at work that we never stop to identify ourselves as to who we are. We always define ourselves as what we do. Jesus came to the world to establish the uniqueness of who we are not what we are based on works but by His creation. He looked not on our external appearance but who we are on the inside. He chose His leader not based on profession nor based on his talents but who we are on the inside- our attitudes, behaviour and character. He found David a man after His own heart. 1 Samuel 16:7.
God does not want us to adapt to the circumstances and situations that could affect us from the outside. Instead He gives us His Living word to wash away what we have been affected to change us from the inside. In short we are not to conform to the world but be transformed by the renewal of the mind where the new life source flows through to strengthen us to stand in the face of adversity. Romans 12:2.
You cannot be dry when God is pouring His life back to you. As God's spirit flows through your mind you are a new creation. 2 Corinthians 5:17. Until we are a new creation we do not have self-control and if we have no self control we cannot take dominion over the environment which we are formed to do. If we live according to the dictates of others, we cannot connect to the will of God for our own life resulting in propensity to conform to become like someone else. God wants us to be an original, a uniqueness of who He wants us to be. If we do not tap to His grace, the source of our own life that flows as Living water we become dry rather than be renewing and refreshing day by day. Emptiness is what satan desires of us to disconnect us from our Life source the Holy Spirit.
