Today's Inspiration: Exodus 16:18-20 The Israelites gathered manna every morning speedily as manna comes down during dew time. This implies that God will always provide for His people even in the desert when there is no food and we have to rely on Him for sustenance. Biblically this means that without Him we will have no provision and no revelation from His word. Without Him we can do nothing. John 15:5.

Our God is a living God. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13:8. If we need to have breakfast every morning, our spirit also needs to be fed with His word every morning. Natural food nourished our body and spiritual food nourishes our soul. Nourishing our soul takes priority because when it is nourished, our natural body would be nourished and everything we do will succeed. 3 John 2.

Nothing in all creation is hidden from His sight. Everything is laid bare before His eyes to whom we have to give account. Hebrews 4:13. Therefore we must take heed of what we do.

The reason why we are vulnerable to reacting in anger is because we have neglected cultivating the relationship with God through meditation of His word and reflecting on the word for the Holy spirit to convict us to change. If we are easily angered at people's opinion, then we are on the devil's camp and His word will not profit us.

Therefore as the word in Hebrews 4:7 says, when we hear His voice through His word do not harden your hearts. Without His word, we are not nourished with faith, peace, joy and love. When we are easily angered, pride is still with us. God says if we do not humble we will not be exalted. On the contrary, we will stumble that leads to destruction. James 4:6 God gives grace to the humble and resists the proud. Therefore do not be an enemy of God through pride and anger, the greatest weapons of the enemy on mankind.

God's word is eternal and is forever fresh, that tastes like honey and good for the soul. So read and meditate your word daily. God be praised!
